Abyssal is a 2.5 D horror, exploration game that takes you on a discovery into the depths of waters. The game revolves around an aquanaut and a robot who forge a symbiotic relation in order to survive the hostility of what lies below and to unravel the mysteries of the deep. The challenges that lie ahead will test the dynamics of their relation bringing companionship and loyalty into question and provide for immersive highs and lows which formalize the epic.
Abyssal is a project of Aalto University’s Game Design students and will be released on PC, Android and MacOS during Fall 2018.
